For The Last Time: The Lowering Of The Welcome Rodeo Fans Sign

Not only did the sign come down, we removed the posters from the upstairs of the barn and took down the chandelier, which will grace Walter's boathouse up on the St. Lawrence River. The ratty old couches are heading for the dump, and the spool has been given to the Herd.
'One by one their seats were emptied,one by one they went away. Here the circle has been broken. Will it be complete one day? Will the circle be unbroken, by and by, by and by? In a better home waiting in the sky, in the sky?'
I always thought Oxford was a little slice of heaven. When I reach those pearly gates I do expect to see that sign somewhere. If they tell me the party is happening elsewhere,then heaven can wait. Thanks for all the years of fun. Patty Walsh
