The barn is nearly cleaned up. Tons of junk that has been around for years must go. The Welcome Rodeo Fans banner has been located in a secure undisclosed location. So only two weeks until the "Last Tango In Oxford".

Jonny Writes

Jon in his disguise of a famous American Beat Poet has sent us more images of t-shirts from various annuals. Speaking of a famous beat poet. Once, while on an Antioch co-op job in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I went to the free John Sinclair rally/benefit. John and Yoko played. So did Stevie Wonder and the Lost Planet Airmen. Bobby Seale spoke, rather harangued, as did other notable supporters of the White Panther who was in jail for possession of two joints. Allen Ginsburg chanted, accompanied by some droning harmonium sort of thing. Later I went to the men's room and there was Allen at the urinal next to mine. Hello, I said. But I guess he didn't hear me. Far out.

Anyway, here's 1982:
Ain't Miss 1982 a knockout?
Or, is she just knocked out?

And here's the 1987 T-shirt:
WOW! I see stars. And starfishes!!

Then there was 1990. My first trip "back east" from California:
We were hoping for the President, but got the Pope instead,
accompanied by a bunch of frogmen.

Come on, Jonny! Send some more.
